Who we are

ScriptRank.live is operated by Leena Jadhav, an individual based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Contact: support@scriptrank.live.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you sign in. We email you a one-time sign-in link. The link works once and expires after 15 minutes; we store only a scrambled (hashed) version of it.
• Your creator profile and listings, if you add them: handle, display name, short bio, website link, and the title, description, link, platforms and categories of each listing. These are public once published.
• Likes. If you like a listing while signed in, we store that your account liked it so you can undo it. The public and creators see only the total number of likes, never which accounts liked a listing.
• Anonymous visit counts. When someone views a listing page or clicks through to a creator's page, we count it once per visitor per day. To tell visitors apart without identifying them, we create a one-way code from the visitor's IP address, browser type and the date, mixed with a secret key. We do not store IP addresses. The code changes every day, so a visitor cannot be followed from one day to the next. These individual records are deleted after 30 days; after that we keep only daily totals per listing.
• Abuse prevention. To stop sign-in spam we keep hourly counters linked to scrambled versions of the email address and IP address. They are deleted within a few hours.
• Moderation records of listing reviews (approvals, rejections, suspensions and the reasons given).
• Payments (once ranking payments open). Card and payment details are entered with our payment provider and are never stored by ScriptRank.live. We keep the amount, date, status and the provider's payment reference.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It lasts up to 30 days, or until you sign out, and cannot be read by scripts. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers or analytics services.

How we use it

To run your account, show listings, count views, clicks and likes for the Trending section and for creators' stats, review listings, contact you about your account or listings, and prevent abuse. Creators see only totals for their own listings, never who visited.

Sharing

We share data only with the services that run the site: our hosting provider (Cloudflare), our email delivery provider (Resend, which sends sign-in and review emails), and, once ranking payments open, our payment provider. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

• Individual visit records: 30 days (daily totals are kept).
• Sign-in links: until used or expired. Sign-in sessions: up to 30 days.
• Account, profile, listings and likes: until you ask us to delete them.
• Payment and moderation records: as long as we need them for legal, accounting or dispute purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or the GDPR in Europe), you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct it if it is wrong;
• delete your account and personal data, except records we must keep (such as payment records);
• stop using your data for a purpose you object to.

To make a request, including deleting your account, write to support@scriptrank.live from the email address on your account. We will reply within 30 days. You can remove a like at any time from the listing page. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
